Privacy.
In plain words. Effective 3 October 2026.
The short version
We collect what you type into our forms, and nothing else. We use it to run Spritelane and to write to you about it. We never sell it or share it with advertisers. Ask, and we’ll delete it.
What we collect
- Developer applications: your name, email, studio, game name, engine, the links and description you give us, and an optional work-in-progress link.
- Player sign-ups: your email and the genres and platforms you pick.
- Contact messages: your name, email, topic and message.
This site doesn’t set tracking cookies or run advertising scripts. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses and request times) for security and to keep the site running.
Why we collect it
- To review developer applications. A person reads each one.
- To tell you when Spritelane opens, and send founding invites.
- To answer messages you send us.
We’ll only email you about Spritelane. Every email will have a way to stop them.
Where it’s kept
Form submissions are stored in a database run by Supabase, and the site is hosted on infrastructure run by our hosting provider. They process the data on our behalf and aren’t allowed to use it for anything else. Only the people running Spritelane can read submissions.
How long we keep it
Until Spritelane opens and you’ve had your invite, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. Applications we decline are deleted within a year unless you ask us to keep them on file.
Your choices
You can ask to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Write to hello@spritelane.com from the address you signed up with and we’ll do it. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under laws like the GDPR, and you can always complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
When Spritelane opens with accounts, this page will change to cover them. We’ll update the date at the top and tell people on the list about anything significant.
